HIN UND WEG. LIVING SPACES IN LUDWIGSBURG

11.03.–16.09.2018

In celebration the city’s tricentennial, the Ludwigsburg Museum presents the exhibition “hin und weg”. With the help of the people of Ludwigsburg, the exhibition shows the diversity of living situations in the city. It is on display from March 11th to September 16th.
How and why do people live in Ludwigsburg? Visitors are invited to participate in answering these questions in the exhibition. Furthermore, visitors and passers by will experience a very special dwelling right in the middle of the city: the innovative tiny courtyard house. Stuttgart-based architects Atelier Kaiser Shen show how inhospitable places can be claimed as living space. Their concept was awarded the first prize in the architectural competition “Raumpioniere – living in small spaces” and built in close proximity to the museum.
