Zwischenheimat. Fotografie Thomas Schadt

from 19 April in the Kunstverein Ludwigsburg and the Ludwigsburg Museum

Thomas Schadt, the long-time director of the Filmakademie Baden-Württembergberg, returns to the roots of his professional career as a documentarist with a comprehensive photo show entitled »Zwischenheimat«. In the exhibition, he shows both current and retrospective works, ranging from classic street photography to essayistic serial photography or color photo tableaux. The works are supplemented by their correspondence with Schadt's documentaries »Das Magazin der Bilder«, »Die vergessene Stadt – Butte, Montana«, »Das Gefühl des Augenblicks« and »Berlin: Sinfonie einer Großstadt«, which can also be seen in the retrospective jointly organized by the Ludwigsburg Museum and the Kunstverein.

In cooperation with the Kunstverein Ludwigsburg e.V.
